Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea Pungens Glauca)

The Colorado Blue Spruce are grown in the field from three year old transplants. Natural growth rates are a result of the dry land farming practice on clay loam soils. All the spruce offered for sale are showing healthy growth and range in height from 5 to 11 feet. For quality control each tree is graded A, B, or C depending on the branching. Every tree sold is freshly dug. A shorter time frame between digging and planting helps reduce transplant shock.



Swedish Columnar Aspen (Populus Tremula Erecta)

For the spring of 2012, three foot tall, two year old seedlings are available. The Aspen are sold bare root.
